Meet the Owner, Adriana!
My journey into entrepreneurship began in 2018 when my husband left the Army and I was expecting our second child. I quickly realized that finding a job that paid well was a nightmare, even with my Bachelor’s degree. I began doing volunteer work with a local nonprofit, and it was there that the founder convinced me to start a Virtual Assistant business.
Although I wasn’t that eager to start, I took the leap and began building my clientele. But, with a baby on the way, I knew I needed help, so I started the delegation process early. This is when the real journey began.
I dealt with all sorts of challenges, from people lying and stealing work, to a lack of standard operating procedures (SOPs). It was a nightmare. But the turning point came in the summer of 2020 when I could barely keep my head above water with the amount of work coming in. I had a team, but I couldn’t delegate effectively because I lacked clear SOPs and a proper system. Plus, I was charging too little, which meant I couldn’t afford the help I really needed.
I knew I had to get my act together. So, when I “closed,” I began researching how to improve my processes, among other things. That’s when I realized the gap between documented processes and beginner business owners.
Once I got myself in a better place, I started helping some of my past clientele with their documentation. That’s when I decided to rebrand the company to The Lazy Millennial in 2021.
At TLM, we help businesses and corporations at any level through the Lazy Framework, using our slogan “Document. Digitalize. Improve.” We understand the challenges that come with starting and growing a business. Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible by providing the tools and support leaders need to succeed.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your business to the next level, we’re here to help you document your processes, digitalize your workflows, and improve your systems. We believe that with the right tools and support, anyone can achieve their goals and be successful.
Having strong documented processes is luxury.
